We are in the age of the internet, however the ultimate audience is still through the telvision. You didn't spend all that time creating your invention just to show your friends and family. There are so many outlets on television to get your product seen. Outlets that allow you to show your product and how it works. Shopping channels are making Billions of dollars every year. How do you get your product on these channels?
Well, that could be the toughest task, but by no means impossible.
Once again, you want to have your product seen. Seen by those who make the decicions. Unfortunatly you can not just walk into one of these shopping channels and just put your product in front of them. There are two effective ways of getting your product into the doors of these oulets. One is to watch for when these chanels are having product searches. Typically there are 5 to 10 product searches in 5 to 10 different cities. With this choice you have to stand in a line with 1,000 to 5,000 people. Then you will have 3 to 10 minutes to show and explain your product. This is not an ideal choice but still a choice. A second choice is working through a product represenative that is shopping channel specific. Product represenatives in the past have brought on negative responses. However, product "reps" that shopping channel specific can get your product seen. But that does not mean that every product "rep" is a good "rep". You have to be very selective if you are going to go through a "rep". First, make sure they have shopping channel experience. Second, talk to clients they have represented, make sure they are what you are looking for. "Reps" can get into the shopping channel buildings, more importantly, they can get you in those buildings.
